Taking remote lighting to new heights, industry leading equipment providers Pinewood MBS Lighting add the LRX Robotic Illumination System to their growing product range.
Delivering outstanding levels of control and versatility, the LRX has become a key requirement on all manner of productions, particularly large-scale shoots where quick, simple access to precise control is needed. Unmatched for its ease of use and incredible on-set capabilities, the range of cleverly designed automated fixtures includes the 12/18kw PAR ‘Singles’ and the 23.4kW Scorpion, all featuring complete remote management over pan, tilt and intensity, plus focus on the PAR Singles.
With built in robotics, the LRX system can be rigged in minutes; safe, secure and ready for instant control either via Handheld Remote, DMX or wireless interface. Full compatibility with the majority of aerial lift systems and standard truss types makes easy work of mounting.
Speaking about the LRX, PMBS Technical Director, Steve Howard says “The LRX is a tried and tested system that delivers both on quality of light and levels of control. We know it’s hugely popular with crews worldwide so we’re delighted to have added it to our inventory.”
Having supported a number of significant shoots, both in the studio and on location, Pinewood MBS Lighting continue to steadily grow their list of production credits. Recent titles include Avengers: Infinity War with Cinematographer Trent Opaloch and Gaffers Jeff Murrell and Pat Sweeney, Christopher Robin with Cinematographer Matthias Koenigswieser and Gaffer David Smith and Bohemian Rhapsody with Cinematographer Newton Thomas Sigel ASC and Gaffer Lee Walters.
Steve continues “We’re immensely proud to be servicing crews of the highest calibre on a variety of production types, many of which can have very specific technical requirements. We are continuing to add and invest right across our product range; the inclusion of the LRX system is a great example of our commitment to making sure we have an inventory that properly meets the needs of clients and crews”.
